your experience

every moment, made magical

every photographer does things a little bit differently - here’s what it’s like to work with me.

Contact Me

After browsing my galleries and scrolling through my social media pages, the next step is to reach out to me.

First, head over to my contact page, fill out the form, and hit send. I will follow up shortly to get the next steps in the process started!

Consultation

The next step is to schedule our consultation. We can connect in person, over the phone, or via Facetime/Skype/Zoom - the most important thing is that we take time to get to know each other, answer each other’s questions, and feel good about working together. A few things you should be prepared to discuss:

  • What is your vision for your photoshoot? Do you have a theme, concept, or feeling in mind?

  • Have you worked with any photographers in the past? What went well, and what do you wish was different?

  • Are you looking to capture an event or milestone (ie - wedding, engagement, birthday present)?

After the consultation, both parties must confirm to move forward with reserving a spot and working together

Reserve Your Spot

After our consultation, the next step is to reserve your spot and book a date for our session to take place. During this step, we proceed with a contract and a retainer fee.

Please note: I only accept a limited number of clients per year. I recommend reserving your spot as soon as you feel I’m the right fit to document your special day!

Planning Process

This is the most exciting part of the process - planning! We’ll work together to bring your vision to life during this step. Before our shoot, I can assist you in choosing photography locations, finding vendors, and establishing timelines to ensure we capture every moment that’s most meaningful to you.

Although I might not be a wedding planner, my years as a photographer in the wedding industry have left me with a wealth of tips, contacts, and experiences that will help things run smoothly when you need them to. If you ever have any questions, let me know!

Wedding & Elopement Clients: As a gift to you, I include a complimentary engagement session for all of my wedding packages. This free session is designed to help us all “warm up” and build trust before your day. The best part of this session is the fact that it allows you to play, break from tradition, and have fun. Here are some examples of what my clients have done in the past:

    • Revisit the location of your first date

    • Visit your favourite coffee shop

    • Nerf gun fight in the backyard

    • Or - let me think of something just for you!

The Big Day!

And finally, the last thing you need to do is simply enjoy the special day you have spent so much time planning. Embrace the beauty of the day and love every magical moment together!
